Daito-KISCO Co. Ltd (DKC), a subsidiary of the Kyung-in Synthetic Corporation (KISCO), signed an investment agreement (MOU) with Iksan City on September 8 for the second-stage expansion of the plant in Iksan. DKC and Government officials, including DKC Head of Business Division, Seo Jong-sul; Head of Production Division, Woo Hee-woo, and Iksan Mayor Jung Heon-yul, attended the signing of the investment agreement held at Iksan City Hall.

DKC signed an investment MOU with KISCO in June 2018 for a site of about 120,000 square metres in the 3rd general industrial complex of Iksan City, Jeollabuk-do, Korea. The factory was completed and is currently in operation. This new investment will enable the expansion of the plant.

Through this second investment the production capacity of photoresist materials, which are chemicals used in displays and semiconductors, will be doubled. This will maximize the competitiveness of scale and operational efficiency and provide an opportunity to increase DKC’s influence in the photoresist market.
