Every KISCO site is audited for waste and exceeds all legislated standards on air emissions and wastewater discharges. Korean government environmental standards are aligned with those of other developed economies and place a strong emphasis on environmental protection.

KISCO has certifications for ISO9001, ISO14001 and OHSAS18001. These accredit our quality management, environmental management and occupational health and safety management systems to international standards. Our food products, from JMC, are accredited under the Food Safety Certification System and are certified as Kosher.


KISCOColor Strong is a certification system for dyes that guarantees the colors used in clothing. Clothing dyed with KISCO Synozol dyes and certified by the KISCOQ Color Strong protocols will retain its original colors even after repeated washing.


Since 2010, KISCO has been certified under the bluesign® system. The bluesign® system is a sustainability framework for the entire textile supply chain. The process tracks the progress of companies in five key areas: resource productivity, consumer safety, air emissions, water emissions and occupational health and safety.


The Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) is the worldwide leading textile processing standard for organic fibres, including ecological and social criteria, backed up by independent certification of the entire textile supply chain.


The ZDHC Foundation manages the Roadmap to Zero Programme with the aim of phasing out hazardous chemicals in the textile, apparel, footwear and leather value chain by promoting safer chemistry and driving innovation.
