On July 16 – 18, IFT18 (Institute of Food Technologists), the largest food related exhibition in the United States, was held at McCormick Place, Chicago. The Institute of Food Technologists (IFT) boasts more than 1,000 exhibitors and more than 20,000 visitors annually. IFT, which is attended by representatives of the food industry from around the world, provides information on food ingredients, safety, quality, technology and equipment. It is one of the major exhibitions where companies from all over the market gather together to share information on the latest industry trends and to hold direct meetings.

 

JMC participated in IFT for the first time this year to promote saccharin, explore potential markets and identify new customers. We were able to create a place for conversation with existing customers in the US for the first time and met with new and potential customers. In addition, visitors who did not know about saccharin were introduced to it and we were able to explain the high quality and strengths of JMC Saccharin as differentiated from our competitors.
