KISCO has been a ZDHC Contributor since 2019.

The ZDHC Foundation manages the Roadmap to Zero Programme with the aim of phasing out hazardous chemicals in the textile, apparel, footwear and leather value chain by promoting safer chemistry and driving innovation.

KISCO’s key products are listed on the ZDHC Gateway Chemical Module and comply with the ZDHC Manufacturing Restricted Substance List (MRSL). KISCO is actively engaged in various task force groups focused on supporting the continuous improvement programs of ZDHC.

The Zero Discharge of Hazardous Chemicals (ZDHC) Programme is a framework for addressing the use of hazardous chemicals in the entire global textile and footwear supply chain. The ZDHC Joint Roadmap, Version 2, defines a Manufacturing Restricted Substances List (MRSL) for the apparel and footwear industry. The MRSL covers chemicals that could be released into the environment during manufacturing and production processes as well as those that might be present in the finished product. KISCO has developed a list of dyes and chemicals which do not intentionally contain any of the substances in the priority chemical groups above the limits listed in the ZDHC MRSL and therefore can be used to supply textiles to brands that have signed up to Version 2 of the Joint Roadmap.
