KISCO Chemical Testing & Analysis Center

The KISCO Chemical Testing & Analysis Center is accredited under the Korea Laboratory Accreditation Scheme (KOLAS). KOLAS was established in 1992 and is administered by the Korean Agency of Technology and Standards. KOLAS is a signatory to both the Asia-Pacific Laboratory Cooperation Mutual Recognition Arrangement (APLAC MRA) and the International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation Mutual Recognition Arrangement (ILAC MRA). APLAC is a cooperation of accreditation bodies in the Asia Pacific region that accredit laboratories, inspection bodies and reference material producers.  It is recognized by the Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) as one of five Specialist Regional Bodies (SRBs). The ILAC agreement provides technical underpinning to international trade by promoting cross-border stakeholder’s confidence and acceptance of accredited testing and calibration results. The ILAC MRA has been signed by laboratories in over 70 different countries.

KISCO is accredited by KOLAS to conduct chemical tests for:

  • Color fastness to light, water, laundering and use
  • Detection of allergenous and carcinogenic dyes
  • Detection of APEOs, NPEOs, phthalates, aromatic amines, chlorinated aromatics, azo colorants, phenols, chromium, formaldehyde and heavy metals in textiles and leathers

In addition to our analysis centre in Seoul, every factory has on-site analytical labs that provide Quality Control (QC) and Quality Assurance (QA) on all products.

Technical Support

Our technical support team visits to customers in 15 of our key markets including Pakistan, India, Vietnam, China and Central America. Our staff provide on-site support and regularly visit end-users with our partners. We help in the process of conducting bulk trials with new customers and with the promotion of new products. We work with our domestic and international business teams to conduct tests on products and have a 24 hour response system to any technical enquiries.

Our technical support staff also provide training to our partners and end-users through on-site visits and seminars. We provide our partners with technical and market information to help them stay informed about new products. We also produce promotional material such as flyers, shade cards, presentations and technical data sheets.

Our technical support team has our own dyeing and printing facilities as well as a wide range of equipment for testing color fastness, light and environmental stability and color information.
